The charts for 2017 & 2018 show Goff to be fairly proficient in the middle of the field at all distances. I was happy to see that considering the criticism he has received on that aspect of his game.
Why would he ever get criticized on that aspect of his game? It's obvious just from casual viewing that he owns the middle of the field. Last year for example he had a qb rating of 112.4 throwi ng to the middle.
Defenses know this because the ones that gave the Rams trouble went out of their way to take away the middle.
