I don't know. I don't see them making a switch in the postseason. Unfortunately center isn't a position like WR, DE, LB or DB that you can sort of platoon. You're in or you're out. I do think with him he's just sort of worn down late in the season. Hopefully the bye benefits him especially. I think he is the one x-factor in whether Goff gets a clean pocket or not. He is still reliable as a zone run blocker. But they have to either be able to count on his anchor in pass protection or scheme away from him with getting the ball out quicker, misdirection, designed rollouts, etc.

As for 2019, I always look at trying to replace the 3 lowest performing among the 22 starters and right now you would have to include Sullivan among them. We'll see.
