One of our draft posters noted that Gurley's ACL was not an enormous tear; Something along the lines of the least damage to that ligament could suffer.
I believe that Gurley's acl was a non contact injury, as well.
The point to all this is the level of damage that was repaired, and the future of Cooper's ability to overcome, and rehab the knee.
I'd like to think that his injury was a smaller event.
I don't think that was remarked upon.
Also, I still have concerns that Kupp might have avoided the ACL had he worn a larger brace. Actually, to my eye, it didn't appear that he had any support on that knee.
He was at risk for an ACL, and at length Dr. Clapper of Weekend Warrior, who happened to replace my tennis partner's knee, discussed this on air two weeks ago. After suffering the earlier injury, Clapper warranted that he'd be at higher risk, and that he'd be wearing a brace for the balance of the season.
I've probably gone at this topic ad nauseum, however as one of my favorite players, an avoidable injury just makes me nutty.
