I will say it again... the Rams defense stiffens in the second half forcing the Saints to punt on their first 3 second half possessions. On the Saints 4th and with the scored tied at 35 the Rams hold again but the Saints are able to kick a 54 yard FG. Certainly no gimme mind you... but the D again does its job

The Rams offense gets the ball back down 38-35... there is no way in the world you can tell me that the Rams won’t at the very least tie this game...but they don’t. Goff misses a throw he can make with his eyes closed to Woods and the Rams have their first 3 and out of the game. We know what happened after that

Now just last week people on this board got upset because people were saying that if Rodgers got that ball back there was no way the Rams could have stoped him. Well don’t we want the same for Goff? Max and Zn are correct... in those situations we need to see Goff and McVay finish. Its one of the things that all of us were looking for as a sign of his growth this year.

We know he had a good game.. and he did. He could have a had a fantastic game by getting the Rams down the field to get the lead after his defense gave him the opportunity

Its what we expect of elite QBs Brady, Brees, Rodgers, Big Ben... we should expect it of Goff. He has to come through in those type of situations

I dunno speed....they were down 35-14, I wouldn't expect Rodgers, Brees, Brady to even come back and tie it at that point....Goff did.

I agree it would have been very nice to pull off one of the biggest comebacks in a decade, but Not gonna throw him under the bus for missing a throw and having his only three and out and try to say we would be having a different conversation today had he made a play.

The kid made many plays....the defense gave up 45 points.....there is your conversation
