And the coaching staff also gets tapped for promotions and are signed away. Happened with LeFleur and Olson last year, will happen with at least a couple of our top Offensive assistants next.
This is why once you get on top, it's really hard to stay on top.
Of course, the important constant will be the HC and the QB. If the Rams win the Superbowl, or even go to it ,this year, Kroenke may want to consider tearing up McVay's deal and giving him a new 5 year contract.....at quite a bit more money. Goff knows his is coming in a couple more years.
The good news: teams like the Rams become attractive to vet FAs who are looking for a ring and/or a just a happy atmosphere and a lot of winning and will take less to sign than with another organization. Might be the same with up and coming assistants.
