The comparisons of Amendola to Wes Welker are absurb. Welker is a Hall of Fame type WR leading the league in receptions and putting up 5 1000 yard seasons.
Amendola had 5 or 6 seasons of 600-700 yards receiving when healthy and never broke 700 yard playing for one of the best coaches and best QBs in the league for some of those seasons.
He was a good role player and good #3 or #4 WR on 3rd downs or special plays. It is like comparing Marshall Faulk to Benny Cunningham.
Other than Benny Cunningham, I believe Amendola is the most overrated Rams player in the past 20 years.
