The Patriots used him as a #3 and #4 type of WR and he was a good #3, #4 guy.
He was not a go to guy like so many Rams fans feel he was.
When he was healthy, he was a 600 yard WR type of player, 5 times, never broke 700. But the problem was, 5 times, he was less than 600 yard because he wasn't healthy.
The comparisons to Wes Welker are the most absurb comparisons that I can think of. Welker is a Hall of Fame type of WR leading the league in receptions and racking up 5 1000 yard seasons with one of the seasons like 1569 yards, twice the production in those seasons. Amendola on the other hand is a good role player.
Simply put, if Danny Amendola is your go to guy, you have major problems!
