It's crazy to bank on an Offense scoring 30 + every time.
They are 5th in points allowed per game at 16.8.
So far the offense only needs to score 30 against a top notch opposing offense.
How tight do you require the D to be?
I think raw averages are deceptive. The first 2 opponents were bad on offense.
Last 2 games they allowed 27 points a game which is 21st.
16.8 would be 5th which IMO is deceptive.
They're more 21st than 5th I think.
For now anyway. They could change. Wade tends not to stand pat.
...
Actually, the Raiders are second in NFL in yards behind only the Rams. That is not "bad on offense"
Maybe they got better because they threw 3 picks that night based just on bad qb play. Well the pick 6 at the end was a good play by Peters but throughout the 2nd half Carr was not doing them any favors. Before the final garbage time drive he was 5 of 11 for 61 yards and only made 1 of 3 3rd down conversion attempts.
I saw a not ready for prime time opponent in that game. Maybe it was just game 1, maybe they weren't ready, maybe they needed the wake-up call, but in the 2nd half I saw an Oakland offense with the wheels coming off.
