Do we know that for certain? We know McVay recalls football plays because we just saw a demonstration of that in the video, but have we ever heard him use his uncanny recall abilities about anything other than football?
He himself when he talks about it, and this is not the first time, indicates that it all revolves around football and comes from "replaying" plays in his head. There's no indication anywhere that it's anything other than football plays.
