Carr's weird throw that Corey easily hauled in was "an affordable" play, and I'll take that all night long.

WRs looked outstanding. Kupp's tough chain mover in the second half was terrific.Cooks over the middle and ducking before getting beheaded was sweet, too.
Add Malcom Brown's nifty tracking of an off target ball.
Goff overthrowing his deep balls a couple of times still made for exciting play, and help loosen some schemes up.

Pass protection might have been the best I can remember seeing;
McVay had some calls I loved. Back to back screens. Some outlandish play action work that had me surprised, too.
Goff might have had some "lock ons" and was lucky not to get picke. However, he threw nice balls in tight coverage, and especially like he saw Kupp for the TD.

In some ways, this did have the feel of a preseason match. And the team improved as the game went on.
