I mean you can’t make this stuff up. What Aaron Rodgers has done tonight is crazy... and the Bears let him off the hook. When you have an int you to catch it

I've seen great players do stuff like this before.

Rodgers is not known for comeback wins. In fact his percentage of wins when he is in that situation is pretty low.

This is probably the biggest C-B win of his career.

Its much harder to have comeback wins when you D isn't any good. As Collingsworth said, last year the Packers didn't have the CBs to win this game.

You can't do comeback math in a vacuum.

There are qbs who do it without the D.

And Rodgers has a low percentage across the years, regardless where his D is ranked. It was ranked top 10 or no worse than 11 in 3 of his 9 years as a starter.

...

That’s not how I would do it. I would look at every loss by less than a TD and see if his D gave him an opportunity. Your approach is too crude to get an accurate assessment of his comeback performance.

Well go ahead and do what you propose then. And if you;re right it will show.

Otherwise, I don't have an approach. I am just referencing the people who did study this. And since the percentages they come up with are comparative, it all evens out. Unless RA's situation is unique, he is being compared to a lot of people in the same situation. For example, Brady and Luck don't always (or in Luck's case, never have) played with top defenses yet they are the top 2 qbs with the highest winning percentages in comeback situations. (Luck's best D was ranked 11th but that was one year, the rest of the time it's just bad).
