I have so many thoughts on it but i know this is not the place for the deep dive
Football teams should have a good mix of personality types Seattle had waaay too many me players
I mean the defense was angry after the NFC Championship game against the Packers because Wilson got credit for the win even though he had one of his worst games ever. He won the game in OT throwing a frantastic TD pass to win it. After the game he was emotional acknowledging how poorly he played but saying his team stuck by him and believed in him. He then thanked God for putting him in that position. In contrast let’s go back a year earlier. Sherman knocks away a Colin Kapernick pass to seal Seattle’s win over SF in the NFCCG. When Sherman is interviewed after the game he is screaming about Michael Crabtree and that Michael Crabtree is nothing compared to him. Shocking the reporter and most of the country who had no idea what he was talking about. Nothing about his team, nothing about being grateful, nothing about being thankful... just some rambling angry explosion because he felt dissed by M Crabtree
That locker room was run by people like Sherman and Lynch there weren’t enough personalities like Wilson to balance things out.
I did find the Bennett Sherman altercation enlightening. Bennett clearly stood up to Sherman
