Don't rely on the so called experts and don't rely on other posters, either. Do the math yourself and draw your own conclusion. Start with overthecap.com and project what Goff, Peters, etc. will cost in the future and see for yourself if it will work or not. Once you do this exercise on your own you will sleep well knowing that the Rams' cap future is fine.
Not to mention how much the cap will increase by the time Goff gets his deal.Btw,
Goff seems like the kinda guy who won't try to squeeze a team for a max deal.... I think he just wants to win and will probably do some Brady type deals to keep this team competitive
Yes sir.... Goff is a class act and he will eventually get his worth if he continues on the path he followed last season. There is no guarantee, but I doubt he will allow his agent to become a headache when his contract time comes up.
I know this has crossed your mind and many others on the board..... It would be no surprise if Goff gets a new contract extension before the start of the 2019 season.
If he has another stellar season in 2018, he will become a Los Angeles sports icon and make a fortune outside of football with commercials and other outside marketing opportunities etc..
