That's one big giant teetering strawman. A strawman on wheels.
For example here's what got said about Clayton. That he did not know much about or get the Rams situation. And events proved that assessment right. He didn't get what was going on with Donald, it showed, and the Donald contract proves he didn't get it.
Then Clayton and Kirwan made assumptions about the Rams cap future that do not hold up.
No one said they were "fools." They said those guys were simply factually wrong about the Rams situation. And that holds up.
Same with Lombardi. It's obvious he didn't look too close or hard at the Rams situation because what he says about it is so easily shot down.
He stays current at all times. He, along with others, have said that the rams choose to pick up both cb's at the expense of Quinn and tree and I believe that to be factual n matter what the Rams FO tries to sell.
That said, I will just wait and see who comes and who stays next off season before I draw a final conclusion.
