Only thing that surprised me somewhat was the 6 years. I was thinking 4-5.
I was told 5 years at 72.5M guaranteed. That connects with 6 years at 87M.
Still, the 22.5 was right on the mark.
I think it’s a win for Rams and Donald.
The 22.5 may seem low for Donald’s value, especially if he ever got to FA, but the G money has got to make Donald happy.
Me - I’m very happy knowing AD is a Ram for life. I hope to see him go into HOF with Merlin as the 2 greatest DT ever from one team. That’s something for Rams fans to enjoy.
For now, we all enjoy watching AD and Suh scare QBs into soiling themselves this year.

The metrics say he should be getting more like 23-24 M annually.
BUT 87 M guaranteed is more than anyone guessed.
So it balances out nicely.

$87 million guaranteed for 6 years roughly equates to $70 million for a 5 year contract, sooooo...
Still, it’s a great number for both AD and the Rams. The very definition of a good bargain. Both sides win.
