I expect Cooks to get more targets and way more yards than Watkins got last year.
I think too much is made about McVay's spread it around offense. As long as Cooks knows the offense and is where he is supposed to be, I expect his number to be called often and for Goff to target him often.
One article suggests that his presence by attracting safety help and will free up Woods and Kupp underneath. But it also states that if the safety doesn't help McVay will say 'hit Cooks over the top!" I agree with this. They will feed him the ball.
