Disagree. All the reports I read state that the Rams wanted Cooks the year before but couldn't get him. That tells me they "settled" for Sammy but had a # in mind when it came to resigning him. IMO, he clearly wasn't worth the money that KC gave him (at least in the Rams eyes) so they let him go. I think McVay is doing cartwheels now that he has Cooks instead of Sammy.

Cooks>Sammy! Sammy was not worth the money he got IMO.
