the Rams are down bodies right now at OLB
its a position that compared to the front and back ends on defense is weak
we need to wait and see before we start declaring how brilliant anyone is
and I am 100% sure Wade agrees with that... they are trying to figure it out
Your reply puzzles me, Speed.
Are you dismissing this Easley “experiment” because of perceived desperation at the other OLB position?
You disagree that Wade has been adept at placing his players in best possible positions/schemes to succeed?
You disagree that he’s already done so with the Rams with both Brockers and Joyner?
While I’m at it, Wade was reportedly very much pushing for JJ in the ‘17 draft. Couldn’t stop smiling after the pick. THAT worked out pretty well too, huh?
Wade determined that Quinn, Ogletree, and Barwin weren’t good fits for his D and he wasn’t about to change his D, so they only lasted for that one transition year.
Wade understands fits and sees talent better than most DC’s. And this has been true for decades. He coaches circles around most any DC I can think of.
So, if he thinks Easley might be a better fit at OLB, who are we to say otherwise?
