of the 3-4 perform.
Love our 3...love our secondary.
LBs are just an unknown.
But.
We do know some things.
1. Wade has a long history of making something out of "no name" ILBs.
2. The Rams had a pass rush last year with a rookie in Ebukam, a player playing subpar most (not all but most) of the season in Quinn, a player hurt probably half the season (Longacre), and a player on the decline (Barwin). They supplied 20 sacks. And it wasn't a good bunch, which is why one had surgery and 2 were let go. Ebukam is no longer a rookie now and Longacre could come back from his back injury. If the Rams can do the same this year as they did in 2017, though with better players this time, then, they're set. Wade certainly thinks so. -->

Phillips: “The rush helps the coverage, the coverage helps the rush, you know? Chicken or the egg sometimes. But we had 48 sacks last year, so we feel like we’re going to have a good rush. And then when you’ve got guys of that caliber [on the corners], it will help us not only in the coverage but maybe turnovers too. That’s what we’re looking for.”
