so I am gonna disagree there.
Also, never had a QB rating above 90 with 12 or more games. Had one good year with Minny, but a lot of time and
money there before that. Missed 48 games in 8 years. 4th team in 9 years. Many teams have given up on him, moved on and drafted or traded for other QBs. Arizona doesn't feel he is the long term answer either.
My answer would be Rams drafting in general for biggest mistake(s) of the decade.
Because under the old CBA there were 6 year contracts. That meant that by the time he was in his 5th and 6th years, 13 M a year was a bargain for a starting qb
The qbs drafted in 2011 who made it to 2nd contracts all got far more than him.
For example, in 2015, Newton signed a deal for 20+ M. That was Bradford's 6th year when he was still on a deal that averaged 13 M. In 2014, Bradford's 5th year, Kaepernick signed for 21 M. In 2014 Dalton signed for 16 M...modest for the time and still more than Bradford.
Bradford's problem with the Rams, as he proved with the Vikes, was supporting cast. No receivers outside of Amendola. A constantly over-injured OL (true both of 2011 and 2012). (In fact in 2011, according to Football Outsiders, the Rams had more offensive injuries than any team since 2002.)
But when it came to himself, team supporting cast aside, Bradford's real problem was always injuries.
