1) Without picks in the first two rounds, I think the Rams determined that they were going to draft talented players who are scheme fits - even if it will take them 1-2 years to grow into starters. I am thinking of players like Noteboom, Allen and maybe even Young. They could have drafted players who are players with higher floors and lower ceiling.

2) They knew they would be able to land two good LBs in the later rounds
