I many times marvel at folks that get excited on some of these players that have never shown much of anything, but I agree with you on Davis. While he didn't do anything in the season, he looked very good in preseason even if it was against 2nd stringers most of the time.
That is the difference to me. Get excited based on actual results that have been seen.
Not sure if you were referring to me as being "excited" or folks in general. I don't think I did. lol I just don't want to give up on the kid just yet. If he can improve his weaknesses (blocking and holding onto the ball) he
might be worth giving another chance. Pass Blocking and holding onto the ball are two very coachable things. Also, it's hard to get excited on "actual results" in the season when you aren't given many chances.
#HelmetHornsMatter
“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
