You don't just plug in random 3rd rounders and expect the same results as a Bell or Gurley.
Three down backs that are great runners and receivers like Bell and Gurley don't grow on trees.
If that were true, then they wouldn't even bother franchising him and paying him $14M ...they'd just dump him and go get a 3rd rounder.
And yes, RB position is devalued in the current market and that is good news for the Rams and more reason why Rams will have easier time keeping Gurley
