What prompts Benoit to say what he says? He claims to watch film. Is he lying? Is he an idiot? Does he have an axe to grind? How can 2 people looking at the same thing come to vastly different conclusions?
I think he's just mistaken. He's not lying nor is he an idiot.
Also, add this to the mix what Brian Baldinger said—
"Sammy Watkins was a big part of the offense"
"Sammy Wakins speed was a big part of the Rams #1 offense"
"Watkins only caught 39 passes last year, but his speed opened windows up for others to win"
"Watkins speed is going to take 2 Texan defenders with him and it allows Woods to win 1-on-1 underneath"

Baldy watches a lot of film and he saw what I saw. So, I really don't know why Benoit got it wrong, at least in my view he got it wrong. TBH I have caugh Benoit in other errors, If he thinks Cooks is better, I have no issue with that. That is a judgment call. If he thinks Watkins wasn;t drawing a safety on those plays he talked about, then I think he's got to take another look at the film.
