Is he asking more than the Rams will pay? Are the Rams lowballing? They can bargain as long as they want but there's a fair number for signing a Donald in 2018. Can the Rams just not realize what he is worth? And so on. At one point the team said it is not amount but structure. Etc. Among bystanders like us, it can go back and forth.
No one knows either way what's happening. Both parties made sure of that.
But I do know this. That list above is outdated. Fletcher Cox, who while good is not Donald, signing a contract 3 years ago (that was less than Suh's 19 M) isn't relevant to Donald and 2018.
