Like you said - he played through the lean years was a good company man - then gets farmed out when they get the first taste of success. He aint the first its happened to and he wont be the last. Sure he is getting paid well but these guys do play for other reasons as well.
Yeah I don't see the point in turning this into another "bash NFL players for their contracts" fest.
He was loyal to and connected to his teammates, which speaks well of him. I am not sure why we have to find ways to bash him for that.
