I'd much rather have Sammy W at $16M per than OBJ + his drama + his greater talent for $20M+/yr + a #1 + more picks/talent/whatever.

The other thing is that, for me, it's more satisfying to experience success when the key players are homegrown. Goff, Gurley, Kupp, Donald, Brockers, most of the OL - I love that they drafted and developed these guys. FA acquisition is obviously a big part of teams' success, but at some point it's too much. And when it's guys like Suh and OBJ that I actually don't like.... it risks souring the things for me.

Suffice it to say: I hope OBJ doesn't come.
