BUT....Watkins ended up being a rental and I'm wondering about what zn posted about this new strategy of renting and/or long term signing. I wonder if we will just start renting guys for short term cuz we have would have (if we do the OBJ trade) top notch players wanting TOP notch dollars...and we could only afford 2 or 3 20m players until Goff gets his 30m in 2 or 3yrs...but then the CBA will be in deliberations and it looks like they'll be a stoppage 1 season after the new stadium opens.

I dunno, things just seem so different the last 18months with regards to trades/FA/renting players and dumping cap.
