i don't know. I am more comfortable just letting his contract expire, putting the tag on him for two years and then moving on from him when he is almost 30. Do I want to give him $24M per year for 5 years? Not really. I like the guy and all, but the disparity between that number and the league minimum is too great for me.

Which elite players are you comfortable paying? Certain positions?
Or would your strategy be to never pay elite players?
Is is a curse to be so successful drafting that you draft the best player in the league?
