But there are quite a few guys I'd have ahead of him ... he'll likely end up at the beginning of my 40-64 bracket.
He should be in a 4-3, though he's "passable" in a 3-4.
It's just ... there are guys that will be at 23 and even in the high 30s after a trade down that I would draft before him.
Lorenzo Carter
Josh Sweat
Dorance Armstrong
We could trade down and still land one of those guys ... those guys can really swivel. Armstrong's 40 seemed wrong to me for the record, and the other two guys ran right at 4.5.
That said? I'm having a hard time talking myself out of Landry at 23 "if he lasts that far" unless Vea is there (again, realllllly doubtful). Landry moves like a super fluid LB, think Warner in this draft ... but he has the power, speed, and bend off the edge to be a double digit sack guy.
I don't know how we could legit pass that up. He's like Von Miller, but a B rating of him. A little less freaky but perfect for playing the 3-4 OLB. I have a hard time thinking of anyone more suited to play the position in recent years. And? He's reallllly smart.
