He’s stiff in coverage for even a 3-4 OLB. Versatile pass rusher but not a consistent edge rusher for me. Not particularly quick or flexible on the edge, wins with hands, good power, and moves that also get him out of position at times. Very effective on stunts Particularly effective when kicked inside in passing downs, still strong enough and there he wins with quickness.
So I guess I think he’s more of a guy best moved around or in certain packages.
If you want a more traditional OLB I prefer Kemoko Turay, Rutgers. If you want more of a stout edge defender I like Hubbard’s teammate Jalyn Holmes, Ohio State
