I'd wager that he holds great leverage. I assume that the Rams do not have a comfortable feeling about his requests. Why else have the Rams not been a bit more active in spending the cap money that they opened up? Resigning their guys are their number one priority. Knowing the real requests of their number one guy is paramount.
