tho I LOVE Sammy as a player...the strategy in LA is to spread the ball around so the defense can't focus on just one player.
In that scenario, Watkins loses his value - to himself anyway - and I think he was gonna be gone regardless.
I think the Rams woulda signed him for up to 14m...but that extra 2m(16m/yr) made it a bridge too far.
