that Sammy was THE key cog in his offensive wheel of success last year, he would still be a Ram. They would tagged him or paid him what he wanted BEFORE the big KC offer. McVay is NOT stupid. He saw Sammy in EVERY practice and EVERY game. I am sure he watched a little "game film" and maybe even some stills. I trust his decision either way. I bet McVay knew some things that us fans did not. He knew Sammy's worth in HIS offense better than anyone and would not allow his best "cog" to leave if it meant it would stop his O from being successful. When it comes to McVay's offense, I trust his decisions on how to keep it rolling.
Was Sammy more of a "me" guy than a "we" guy? Was Sammy upset Woods was excelling more than him? Was he upset because he wasn't the "focal point" of the offense? Was he just not "getting" the offense? We will never know the real reasons IMO but you can bet you @ss McVay does.
I was a BIG Sammy fan but something just wasn't right. I wish him well in K.C.
Rams tend to lowball.
There will be opinions on what it is.
But at this point no poster or fan KNOWS what it is.
