All of the things you describe, reading defenses, anticipation etc., etc., is preaching to the choir.

Remember I was the one who said to begin the season that Goff was not ready, and that McVay would have to make a decision mid-season..

Fortunately that did not happen for many reasons but I maintain that he's not ready.

I've seen Goff throw slants to Watkins and I believe that during film review that is an issue that would be addressed.

Let me put it this way.

Do YOU think that if McVay called Watkins number, they got the coverage they wanted and Goff missed it that McVay wouldn't take corrective measures?

I do or at least I would hope he would as a professional play caller.

Rezone problems in Washington...redzone problems in Los Angeles.

That's not a coincidence IMO.
