Patricia is a good coach with a commanding presence, the defense did not have a good year, but the IMO, he's gotten the most out of his units and the players have high praises for him. Agreed the defense played bad in the Super Bowl, but I like the hire plus he has a history with Lions GM Bob Quinn who came from New England.
Matt Patricia has a degree in Nuclear Engineering from one of the finest institutes in the country (Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute RPI) and has come up the hard way through the coaching ranks....IMO the Lions have made a giant step forward. FWIW I believe the Lions are in good hands as I will always bet on smart over the alternative.
