When he's outside of a controlled situation, he will fail.
During the regular season Keenum played in a better structure, he was very rarely stressed and was essentially in every game.
With Minny he had better support and a better defense which didn't ask him to do much other than
hold the wheel. His coordinator did for him what he did for Bradford in 2010, designed a controlled pass game, that didn't ask to much.
If conditions are optimum he can be fine.
But as we saw in the last two games, when he's put under pressure to deliver more than just
holding the wheel...its beyond his ability.
Keenum cost himself a lot of money with his playoff performance.
Up until then I believe there were some teams that would have been fooled into believing he was a starter in this league.
He's a back-up.
Best,
Laram
