Like others who have posted, I was at the game too. Yes, I thought that Goff held onto the ball too long at times and he missed a couple if throws that I'm sure he'd like to have back. But overall, I believe that he played well and took care of the ball. The end-of-half passes to Woods and Kupp were dimes.
The thing that still gets me, though, is Goff's trust level (or lack thereof) with Sammy Watkins. Aside from the deep pass attempt in the 1st quarter (which wasn't the greatest pass), he simply didn't look Watkins' way. And, unlike some of the early season games (where Watkins flat out quit on some routes), he appeared engaged the 5-6 times I focused squarely on him. And yes, Watkins drew help from the safety. But other times, he was singled up.
Just had to wonder if Goff has the confidence to challenge his opponent's best DB (despite the fact that he's got a legit #1 WR up for that same challenge).
For such a good season by Goff, this made for a curious situation.
