I am glad to see Mannion get some game experience. Early on it seemed as if he was aiming the ball but once he got moving a bit he started slinging it okay. The receivers were terrible not sure what happened there.
Anyway if God forbid Goff got hurt Mannion will be more ready to step in and contribute and this time he will have sure handed receivers, a first rate offensive line and a great running game to support him.
Our subs now have a better understanding of what they need to do to make the grade which is also a positive.
But I am thrilled that we rested all of our key starters while Atlanta had to commit their starters to winning the game. I trust McVay and the players to be ready to play against a very good and experienced Atlanta team.
