I'm curious about something. The Front Office includes administrative positions filled with people who handle player transportation (local and cross country), lodging, player development, facility management, and lots of other day-to-day operations issues. So, what exactly did Fisher do to "move the team" when the bulk of the tasks to accomplish the move fell on so many others? Not trying to be smart, just trying to understand his role in the move itself.

I am not sure what all that included but it was mentioned by quite a few people that he was hired because he had experience moving a team. Maybe it meant little things like keeping the players moral up. Telling them what to expect since he already been through it before. I have no idea how much "fell on others" and nobody else here does either. We can only speculate. Fisher did have experience with a team moving. IMO, Stan knew he wanted to move to L.A. when he hired him. Do you agree?
