Watkins has the 3rd most receiving yardage on the team. Heck he’s only 11 yards ahead of Gurley in 4th place!
And Watkins has the 6th best catch percentage on his own team! Even Tavon has a better one.
Watkins does have the most TD’s and the highest average ypc. But c’mon...
Watkins, at present, is hardly a “must have”. Not if we’re being objective, anyway.
There you go again looking at stats again....
Watch the games and see the attention Sammy gets from safeties and what that does for McVays offense.
Also, there was a 45 yard PI on Sammy last week.....those things don't show up on his stat sheet.
$12 mil a year for a WR like Sammy is a bargain these days imo.
