If every block that meets the definition of holding was called, the average score of NFL games would probably be 10-7. I see Rams' pass rushers being held all the time with no call.
It was a great play. No need to put an asterisk by it.
it's jsut an honest assessment. And while we all get that the commentators say they could call holding on every play, there is a line on which refs call holding. And any fair assessment says refs missed on on that play. I am not sure there is a credible argument that it wasn't holding
But seems like most posters agree that is was a missed call but none of them care, either.
I don't care. However, I am not going to dismiss it and say it was a good call. I say we got away with one and that happens in football.
But it was a hold, a blatent one, one that rises above the mythical "meets the definition" thing.
We got away with one and no one can do anything about it. So it totally counts.
