I guess I'm looking at the question in a different way then most....

I see the improvement on the O-Line, on the WR group, on the QB position and Gurly is a factor now as well... and yes it's is because we have different personnel in most of those spots. But IMO you have to ask this.....If we did not hire McVay as our HC would our unkown what if coach hired the staff he has, and choosen FA's and traded for and drafted these same players who have made this team what we see on the field? (Not to mention have them come together as they have)

You can't say maybe that would be an answer that goes into unproven opinion. You can however point to as fact that McVay has done these things. So IMO he is the key of what is going on.....We just did not go out and all these players just showed up at the door....I think McVay did his work.....said what and how he wanted to operate and went out with his staff and got what he wanted as his team for 2017.....

Yes the O-Line is better, but McVay chose Kromer to do just that.....Yes the QB is better but because coach went out and got a good QB coach and a good OC to help build his fundamentals up. Yes Gurly is better but because the HC is actually improving Gurly's abilities by way of fundamentals and a better actual use at the position. Now again the players are a better quality but who is responsible for that acquisition of said talent not to mention the actual thought process involved in getting better talent and ALSO using it for high results? ( I want to run this so I need this type player) and they go that type person.....The LT position is way way improved.....but without McVay can you say it would have happened anyway....Whitworth would have become a RAM regardless of McVay being here?

I keep coming back to the HC....not talking about other teams and their coaches vs. us....IMO our coach is the fundamental key we needed to start doing what we are doing.....

To say that without the players McVay would not be doing what he is doing....that's my point he got these players, he chose these players just as he chose to dump the ones he dumped.....I just see him as the key for those very reasons....
