There are many leftovers from the Fishneck regime, but every player on this current team seems to execute so much better. That is a result from Coaching. McVay and this Coaching staff have caused a complete turnaround through scheme, teaching and player accountability.
The Rams look to be the most complete team in the NFL right now. Jimmy Johnson eluded that the Rams have the best coaching staff in the NFL. Heck, even Greg the leg is playing like an All Pro. I believe McVay and the entire culture he's created has caused a positive, winning mentality that's carried over to all the players.
