1. Be more consistent against the run.The only thing that bugged me yesterday was seeing the run defense allowing big holes (mostly early) to a an OL that is not exactly one of the top units in the league. It seems like, particularly early in games, the Rams' front 7 has made key errors leading to big runs. To me, that's a scheme/preparation issue, not a talent issue, so it can be addressed.
2. More Sammy Watkins in short/intermediate routes.Watkins finally got his big play yesterday, but still only had two targets, both on deep passes. I'd like to see him getting the ball more often on shorter plays (bubble screens, crossing patterns, slants, etc.) that will allow him to use his YAC abilities. Essentially, I'd like to see some of Kupp's targets shifted to Watkins (don't want the Kupp to runneth over!)
3. More Everett! He creates such mismatches. I'd like to see him get more opportunities. Keep em' guessing!
