I think they could still get about three reps in every other game in for both Reynolds and Thomas. This could happen especially in a game were they are moving the chains and simply are getting more offencive plays on scorecard and are still using some controlled passing .
Rams would likely be running a 4 wide set with either of them subbing in ,, although thier might be a situation were Rams want to try to some 5 Wides without Gurley but that would be pretty experimental or maybe specific to a deep shot to one of our subs .
I could see Thomas or Reynolds also getting some time last couple weeks if we clinch a playoff spot early .
Woods or Watkins could get a couple quarters off in that kind of situation.
Maybe Pharo gets a few more reps too then.
Besides play calling I think mixing up personnel or creating sub packages is great way to keep the offence fresh .
Each player has something to offer that they could work into a new or standard plays theyve ran since camp.
Would be good for team to get the backups some experience and keep them engaged .
Time may come when they are needed and any reps before would help.
So I hope they do take the opportunity to play all of WRs the 2nd half of the season whenever they can .
It shouldn't take away from anybody else every starter needs a few downs off anyway be it in practice or game time .
