Is anyone concerned about his drops?
But, yeah, Kupp hasn't demonstrated the great hands he's supposed to have -- at least so far. But I have no doubt he will. He's one of my favorite rookies for the Rams. He's going to get a LOT better.
As for Goff . . . I'm likely a minority of one but I think he was off on his throws for the majority of the game. Goff showed excellent poise, complete command of the game, the field, the pacing of the attack, and is so much better than he was last year. But I don't think he's throwing the ball well. It's behind or ahead of his receivers too often, and he needs to work on that.
This, of course, is in the context of me being THRILLED that the Rams are winning, and I am more and more convinced they're a playoff-bound team. And not just bound.
Worthy.
They have "it" this year. Gurley is playing like an All-Pro, the Defense is fast approaching elite, as they learn the 3-4, the special teams are . . . special . . . and the O-line keeps shocking me on Sundays. It's actually quite good.
I think the ONLY issue the Rams have right now is Goff's accuracy. He needs to lead his receivers, and be far more careful when he sees coverage. As in, don't throw it.
He's very young. He's gonna improve. But I think the main thing for him is to work on accuracy. He's got pretty much everything else nailed.
