Due to Fisher's incompetence in setting up his offensive talent to be successful that has colored my viewpoint. Snead did bring in guys who are performing well under McVay. And its just not due to the extra time. It's good vs bad offensive coaching.
I just heard Warren Moon on ESPNLA say that the way Goff was handled by Fisher's staff, he called out Weinke specifically, was very bad. His point was you don't emotionally and mentally beat up a very young rookie QB. And thats exactly how Fisher approached handling Goff.
Fisher threw Goff under the bus on Hard Knocks, allowing him to be portrayed foolishly. I don't know how anybody can do anything but criticize Fisher for how he handled Goff.
