I certainly understand your perspective. And umpteen years of losing will do that.
My original post is based upon my instincts as a former athlete, years of observing sports, and finally just a sense
that this team has turned the page and we will see it on Sunday.
We will out-coach Seattle Sunday(play calling and scheme).
Our D put it altogether Sunday in the 2nd half against the boys and it is going to carry over to Sunday.
We historically have handled Wilson's athletic ability and his O line seems to be at an all-time low. So I see no reason not to think that our D line will Dominate their O line.
And lastly I finally believe in our O line. They will not dominate Seattle's D line but they will do just fine.
The coach does not back down from letting his players know that it's a big game(like Fisher) and therefore he will have to team ready to go.
We have beaten the seahags in the past with inferior talent on offense and inferior coaching and inferior game planning.
We have superior talent on offense, defense, special teams, and I'll take Goff over Wilson "Right Now." Wilson does not have the arm talent that Goff has. He wins in other ways, yes but I prefer a Goff-like QB.
Once again this is my gut talking. I have very little empirical evidence to prove my stance and that's okay with me.
I'm willing to go out on the ledge and predict not have 20/20 hindsight.
Thank you, thank you very much (Elvis)
