First, I get really nervous around this sort of hubris. Not necessarily for rational reasons. But, in 5 decades of watching football, I've seen a lot of fan gusto crash and burn.
Second, as I've said before, I do not feel as I did in '99. I love our progress, but I do not SEE us emerging into the sort of dominance we had in '99.
I KNEW we would crunch SF that year. I don't know that we will beat SEA this time. And I certainly don't have a conviction that we can crush them.
We're coming along. But we have flaws and limitations yet. I'm not where you are.
